Experimental Photography Final Project

These images are made using a variety of experimental photography techniques including cyanotype, chemigram, and photogram with the theme of an eye running through them—my eye in fact—which was taken from one of Lindi Gordon's photographs for the new No Accidents album, How I Got Thrown Out of the Zen Center. 

My original idea was to make the album cover for my project, and as the images were originally promotional and the material is meant to be performed as well as simply listened to, repurposing the images into something closer to a performance or presentation was a natural progression. The images will be displayed on computer screens and accompanied with sound sculpted in real time. The collective audience members will also have access to a MIDI controller and are welcome to manipulate sound as well, turning the exhibition into an interactive experience.
